ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
PRE-TRIP INSPECTION
As a part of our criteria we make sure all our students learn how to do a Pre-Trip Inspection. The inspection is a three part examination to make sure the trucks are in good condition. Mastery in the Pre-Trip inspection is needed in order to pass the Driving Test at the DMV.
MANEUVERS
Maneuvering the combination vehicle is a crucial skill when on the road driving. There are a total of four maneuvers which our staff here at CDL of California dedicate the time necessary to master them all.
ON THE ROAD DRIVING
The driving portion of the exam will begin after the pre-trip and maneuvers are mastered. The instructor will dedicate one-on-one time during the drive to ensure that you feel confident enough to take the CDTC Driving Test.
